Milk Bookstore & Café is seeking a friendly and organized Shop Manager to oversee our vibrant bookstore and café in Colombo. If you have a passion for books and excellent customer service skills, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the bookstore and café.
- Supervise and train staff to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales.
- Ensure a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Prepare financial reports and manage budgets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for books and a love for the café culture.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Basic knowledge of financial management.
