Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to students to address academic, personal, and emotional challenges.
- Develop and implement workshops and programs to promote student mental health and well-being.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions and student progress.
- Assist students in setting and achieving academic and personal goals.
- Stay updated on best practices in student counselling and mental health support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Proven experience in student counselling or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff.
- Empathy and a genuine interest in helping students succeed.
- Knowledge of mental health resources and referral processes.
