Tour & Film Production Coordinator
Heaven Nature Ltd, a dynamic UK-based company, is seeking a highly motivated individual for the Tour & Film Production Coordinator position at our Colombo office. This exciting dual-role involves crafting immersive tour experiences for international guests while supporting the production and distribution efforts of the company's film projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Tour Coordination & Operations:
- Design and oversee customized tour itineraries (e.g., 7-, 14-, 21-day packages) across iconic Sri Lankan destinations such as Colombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Yala, Galle, and more.
- Arrange logistics including transport (private drivers, airport pickups), accommodation, park visits, and cultural sites.
- Provide reliable, transparent service—avoiding confusion or last-minute surprises.
- Act as primary contact for travelers before and during tours to ensure smooth experiences and high satisfaction.
- Film Production & Distribution Support:
- Coordinate communication between local and international production teams, including directors, artists, and support staff.
- Assist in scheduling and logistical arrangements for artists and directors, including accommodation and transportation.
- Support administrative tasks related to film production such as documentation, permits, and location coordination.
- Liaise with distributors and other stakeholders to assist with the release and distribution process of films produced or represented by the company.
- Ensure smooth communication and professional handling of sensitive information within the production team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Essential:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tourism operations, event coordination, or film/media production support.
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Sri Lanka's key attractions and logistical planning.
- Preferred:
- Qualification or training in tourism, hospitality, or media-related fields.
- Local license or tour guide certification.
- Familiarity with eco-tourism principles.
- Experience in working with directors, artists, or film production teams.
