1) Our safety principles
- Human-centered moderation: blend automation with human review for sensitive cases.
- Transparency: clear rules for candidates and employers.
- Proportional enforcement: warnings for minor issues; removal and bans for serious or repeated violations.
- Privacy-aware: collect the minimum data we need to run the service. See our Privacy Policy.
2) What’s not allowed
We remove content and may restrict accounts that include:
- Fraud, scams, pyramid/MLM schemes, or solicitation of upfront payments from candidates.
- Hate, harassment, threats, or incitement of violence.
- Discrimination in job ads (e.g., on the basis of gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, etc.).
- Illegal work, deceptive listings, or roles that violate Sri Lankan law or licensing requirements.
- Sexual content, escorting, or explicit material.
- Weapons, dangerous substances, or other prohibited goods/services.
- Misinformation that may cause harm (e.g., fake employer identities, spoofed brands).
3) Job seeker safety tips
- No upfront fees: do not pay to apply, interview, or secure a job.
- Verify employers: check company websites, socials, and email domains before sharing personal details.
- Protect personal info: don’t share bank/OTP/passwords; share only what’s relevant to the application.
- Watch for “too good to be true”: unrealistic salaries, instant hiring, or off-platform messaging pressure.

4) Employer responsibilities
- Post accurate, honest roles with clear responsibilities and (where possible) salary ranges.
- Follow equal opportunity practices; avoid discriminatory language and requirements.
- Handle applicant data securely and use it strictly for hiring.
- Do not request sensitive personal data unless legally required and appropriate for the role.
5) Moderation & enforcement
We use automated checks (spam, keyword, duplicate detection) and human review. Actions can include:
- Edits or removals of violating content.
- Warnings and education for minor, first-time issues.
- Temporary suspensions or permanent bans for serious/recurring violations.
- Escalation to authorities when legally required.
