About Us
We are an Australian-based automotive company operating in Australia and Japan, seeking an Accountant to support and guide our operational and financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for all finance functions of the company
- Handle monthly/periodic management reports
- Manage payable and receivable activities
- Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities
- Liaise with tax authorities regarding all tax-related requirements
- Maintain the proper fixed asset register and stock-related control
- Manage payroll
- Support policy formulation of the company
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years working in a similar position
- Degree in Financial Accountancy from a recognized university or part qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka
- Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel and accounting packages
- Proven experience in financial and management accounting
- Team player with good time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles
- Must live in Colombo district
