Job Description
A leading Japanese company located in the Export Processing Zone, Katunayake, is seeking a qualified individual for the post of Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Handle financial reporting and taxation in a manufacturing environment.
- Manage VAT, WHT, and attend to IRD matters.
- Ensure compliance with SLFRS/IFRS standards.
- Utilize ERP Systems, preferably SAGE 300.
- Work effectively under pressure and manage long hours when required.
Qualifications Required
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management, or
- Member of CA / ACCA / CIMA (Part Qualified candidates with relevant experience will also be considered).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 years' experience in a reputed audit firm is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of taxation and financial reporting.
- Good command of English.
- Residing within a 20-30 KM radius of Katunayake EPZ is preferred.
