Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our Operations leadership team as an Assistant Manager - ELS / IE / Metrics. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of operational excellence, driving cost optimization, and improving efficiency across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee ELS, IE, and Metrics functions, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Drive planned savings projects, taking 100% responsibility for successful realization and impact.
  • Proactively identify new savings opportunities and lead end-to-end execution to maximize bottom-line results.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve operational efficiency, machine utilization, and productivity metrics.
  • Champion initiatives to reduce scrap, optimize headcount and overtime, and enhance cost efficiency.
  • Drive digital transformation projects to improve scalability and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure robust KPI tracking, reporting, and performance management across operational functions.
  • Create a Kaizen culture in ADSL.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver continuous improvement projects and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Promote and sustain a culture of lean, safety, and accountability across the site.
  • Act as a change agent to embed operational excellence practices and mindset within teams.
  • Align with the Global Avery Dennison standard of 6S and guide department level HODs/Six S champions.
  • Prepare monthly audit plan and share with the team members.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, or Operations, with proven cost-saving project delivery.
  • Strong expertise in continuous improvement tools (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma) and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in driving cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn insights into actionable results.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive self-starter who takes ownership and drives initiatives independently.
  • Strong ICT proficiency with advanced skills in Excel and data analysis.
