Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Vice President - Information Security to join our dynamic team in Colombo. This role is crucial in safeguarding our information assets and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement information security strategies and policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats.
- Monitor security incidents and respond to security breaches effectively.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are followed.
- Lead security awareness training programs for employees.
- Prepare reports for senior management on security status and incidents.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are preferred.
