Chief Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of Designs and Tender Documents including BOQ, Specifications, and Conditions of Contracts.
- Tender Evaluation and Recommendation.
- Measurement of completed works and recommendation for payments.
- Monitoring Construction Progress of ongoing projects.
- Coordination with project Consultants, Contractors, and Local Authorities.
- Preparation of memorandums for necessary approvals for construction projects.
- Adhere to rules and regulations imposed by the Bank.
- Any other official duties as assigned by the Bank.
Qualifications
- Citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- MSc related to Construction Project Management from a recognized institution.
- Fully qualified Chartered Engineer.
Experience
- Minimum 12 years of post-qualifying experience in building projects.
- Knowledge of Civil Engineering Specifications, Conditions of Contracts, and Project Management.
- Experience in building construction and project monitoring.
- Familiarity with computer software packages including AutoCAD.
Age Requirement
- Must be below 48 years of age as of the closing date of applications.
