Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
- Participate in menu planning and inventory management.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a Western kitchen.
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
- Relevant culinary qualifications are a plus.
