Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Indian dishes under the supervision of the Chef de Partie.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to the restaurant's standards and recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Assist in inventory management and food stock rotation.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar role, preferably in Indian cuisine.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
- Relevant culinary qualifications are a plus.
