Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the Industrial Engineering (IE) and Lean functions across the Sri Lanka business.
- Manage and drive lean training initiatives throughout the organization.
- Ensure machinery requirements are met while controlling costs and inventory.
- Oversee product development functions and manage CI projects, OPEX, and standardization.
- Deliver project-based automation solutions for enhanced productivity.
- Analyze data trends and set benchmarks for key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Guide the team in developing departmental goals and succession planning.
- Drive improvements in sewing efficiencies and skill development.
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure effectiveness in IE and Lean functions.
- Explore new machinery and systems to improve lead time and productivity.
Qualifications & Experience
- Lean Black Belt holder.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the apparel industry.
- Strong analytical and strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Thorough understanding of process enhancement strategies.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Confidence in leading organizational change.
