Dilan Abeysinghe Chartered Architects is seeking a talented and motivated Draftsman to join our office team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with drafting and technical drawing skills to grow in a reputed architectural firm.

Responsibilities

Preparing detailed architectural and interior drawings.
Drafting construction plans including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
Using CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) to develop and edit construction drawings.
Supporting basic quantity surveying tasks such as BOQs and material take-offs.
Collaborating with architects, designers, and engineers to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Measuring and preparing drawings based on site inspections.
Ensuring drawings comply with industry standards, building regulations, and company guidelines.
Maintaining quality control and accuracy in drafting documentation.

Requirements

Diploma / Certificate (NVQ Level 4) in Draftsmanship.
Basic knowledge in Quantity Surveying (QS) will be a definite advantage.
Minimum 1 year experience in drafting (architectural field preferred).
Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software.
Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
Age between 22 - 35 years.
Ability to work full-time from office (Nugegoda).
