Responsibilities
- Create detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Prepare material take-offs.
- Attend meetings conducted by clients and submit reports to the MD and other executive staff.
- Participate in site meetings, project reviews, pre-tender meetings, and site visits.
- Prepare comprehensive detailed Aluminium shop drawings (Structural glass, curtain wall, HPL Partition, Glass doors, and windows).
- Manage project schedules, monitor progress, and identify potential delays or bottlenecks.
- Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution and minimize costs.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure project success.
- Monitor project budgets and costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing variances.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, or budget effectively.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and subcontractors, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. (Engineering) with 3 years of experience or NDT/HNDE with 5 years specialized in Aluminium work, ceiling work, and glazing work.
- Sound knowledge in preparing Aluminium costing and estimates.
- Familiarity with construction methodologies and technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Experience in the construction industry and ability to work under pressure.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Possess a valid driving license.
- Age below 45 years.
