Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all factory machinery and utilities operate at optimum efficiency to support production and quality standards.
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs to reduce breakdowns and improve uptime.
- Manage and guide the engineering team, ensuring effective coordination with production schedules.
- Enforce safety standards and compliance across all engineering functions.
- Control engineering costs, monitor spare parts usage, and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Support audits, ensure calibration and quality compliance, and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Recommend machinery upgrades, process improvements, and efficiency initiatives.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics) with HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
- 4-5 years of engineering/maintenance experience in manufacturing (textile sector preferred).
- Strong knowledge of textile and non-woven fabric machinery, utilities, and factory systems.
- Proven leadership in managing engineering teams and improving machine performance.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and compliance requirements.
