Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive - Apparel Merchandiser to manage the end-to-end merchandising process. The ideal candidate will ensure timely product development, cost efficiency, and quality standards aligned with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sourcing and vendor coordination.
- Oversee product development and PLM management.
- Coordinate sample development and follow-ups.
- Conduct product benchmarking and competitor analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, sourcing, production, and quality teams.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
1. Educational Qualifications
- Degree in Textile/Apparel Manufacturing, Fashion Merchandising, Industrial Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in apparel merchandising.
2. Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Sourcing & Vendor Management: Strong knowledge of sourcing markets and supplier management.
- PLM (Product Lifecycle Management): Hands-on experience with PLM systems.
- Benchmarking: Experience in product benchmarking and analysis.
- Sample Development & Follow-ups: Coordinate sample development and manage timelines.
3. Communication Skills
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective coordination.
4. Analytical & Planning Skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
- Capable of managing product calendars and cost analysis.
