Role Accountabilities

Identify potential risks & process enhancements and propose process optimization/risk mitigation actions.
Conduct audits on processes/Head office level departments to identify internal controls and process weaknesses.
Conduct investigations as required.
Implement the company strategy with the Head of Risk for risk management and establish the risk tolerance limits.
Analyze and continuously improve the company risk management policies in line with the latest market developments and regulations.
Update the management team on potential credit, market, liquidity, and operational risks, implementing relevant mitigative strategies in collaboration with all departments.
Play an active role in strategy setting and corporate planning, liaising with top management, Board of Directors, shareholders, customers, and other stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

A degree in Banking, Finance, Management, Mathematics, or Statistics (a Master's degree is a plus), OR
Full or part professional qualifications in banking and finance (IABF/DABF), CIMA, or FRM.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the banking or financial services sector, focusing on risk management.
Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written in English).
Proficiency in MS Office, with good report writing skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
