Key Responsibilities
- Manage all foreign currency payments, including Telegraphic Transfers (TTs), Letters of Credit (LCs), and Documentary Collections, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Coordinate and monitor working capital loans, ensuring proper documentation and timely interest reconciliations.
- Liaise effectively with banks, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth financial operations.
- Monitor daily bank balances and prepare relevant management reports to support decision-making.
- Enter bank transactions and journal entries accurately into the SAP system.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.
- Foster and maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- The candidate should hold a HND, Bachelor's degree, or Professional degree in finance, accounting, or a related field from a recognized university or part qualification in professional qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or locally used systems is required.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala are essential, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and resolve issues.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
