Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounting operations and assist with month-end closing.
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations; assist in maintaining accurate financial records.
- Contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Manage and update financial data using ERP systems.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders including auditors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Experience using accounting platforms, preferably Xero, is an added advantage.
- Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Excel.
- Fluency in English – both written and spoken.
- Candidates residing close to Colombo are preferred.
