About Us
Pioneering as the first private Maritime Training facility in Sri Lanka, MSTI Maritime Academy has evolved to become the premier maritime academy in the country since 1986. Our upgraded training facilities are located in Dehiwala, Katukurunda, and Kaluthara.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage cash flow and financial planning.
- Implement financial controls and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor finance staff.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
- Part-qualified ACA/CIMA.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
