Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level IT support to office and factory users, including hardware, software, printers, and basic network issues.
- Support Microsoft 365 users (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and basic SharePoint functionality).
- Assist with user account management, access control, and device setup.
- Manage ERP and operational systems by handling user issues and performing basic troubleshooting.
- Manage the ManageEngine ticketing system.
- Maintain IT assets, inventory, and technical documentation.
- Assist with network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, and network devices).
- Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager or external vendors and follow up until resolution.
- Ensure adherence to basic IT security best practices, including password policies, endpoint protection, and backups.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Networking.
- 1–2 years of experience in an IT support or IT assistant role.
- Working knowledge of Windows OS and PC troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, LAN, Wi-Fi).
- Exposure to Azure fundamentals and cloud concepts.
- Exposure to ERP systems; experience with Sage ERP will be an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Resourceful and proactive mindset, with the ability to use documentation, online knowledge bases, forums, and search engines to resolve IT issues.
