Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, establishing clear performance goals and KPIs.
- Oversee all internal financial reporting, management accounts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and HMRC tax and VAT regulations.
- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure continuous audit readiness.
- Develop and monitor the firm’s budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Streamline accounting processes and optimize financial systems for efficiency.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Provide strategic insights and analysis to senior management for decision-making.
- Partner with leadership to support long-term planning and firm-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting or finance management.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and HMRC regulations.
