Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategies for timely delivery of products.
- Maintain cold chain integrity for product quality and safety.
- Optimize route planning and fleet utilization to reduce costs.
- Manage relationships with 3PLs and transporters for service reliability.
- Oversee frozen storage facilities ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct stock reconciliations.
- Implement FIFO and FEFO systems for product traceability.
- Maximize warehouse space utilization and streamline storage practices.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, and other quality standards.
- Conduct training on hygiene and safety protocols.
- Identify and close process gaps through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Negotiate rates with logistics partners for cost optimization.
- Utilize ERP and WMS platforms for planning and performance reporting.
- Lead and develop logistics teams to achieve high productivity standards.
- Foster constructive labor relations and ensure compliance with labor laws.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in FMCG.
- Experience in managing cold storage is essential.
- Proficient in logistics software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
