Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance tests on radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with oncologists.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to medical staff on radiation safety and equipment use.
- Participate in research and development projects to improve treatment methodologies.
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and equipment performance.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Medical Physics or a related field.
- Certification by a recognized professional body (e.g., ABMP, AAPM).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and treatment planning systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
