Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customer expectations and company objectives.
- Monitor stock movement and analyze sales figures to forecast future demand.
- Set up product displays and ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained.
- Maintain strong relationships with retail staff and store managers.
- Track competitor activities and market trends to optimize merchandising efforts.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly merchandising reports.
- Ensure inventory is well-managed and replenishment is done on time.
- Support promotional activities, seasonal campaigns, and product launches.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a merchandiser or in a similar retail/sales role.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Good understanding of consumer behavior and retail trends.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and merchandising software (if applicable).
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
