Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile News & Voiceover Content Producer to join our social media marketing and news content team. The role requires strong awareness of global current affairs, the ability to identify breaking news and trending stories, and deliver high-quality voiceover narrations for news updates, documentaries, and social media content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor global news sources, social media platforms, and wire services for breaking stories.
- Identify newsworthy updates and suggest/document potential stories for documentaries and features.
- Write or adapt short scripts for news updates and narrations.
- Record clear, engaging, and professional-quality voiceovers for:
- Breaking news updates
- Daily/weekly news roundups
- Mini-documentaries and explainer videos
- Work closely with the video editor to ensure voiceovers align with visuals and graphics.
- Maintain fast turnaround times for urgent/breaking content.
- Ensure voiceover tone matches the brand's identity (credible, professional, and engaging).
Qualifications:
- Strong awareness of international and regional current affairs.
- Excellent communication and scriptwriting skills in English (additional languages are an asset).
- Prior experience in voiceover, broadcast, radio, or similar roles.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt quickly to fast-changing news.
- A professional and versatile voice suitable for both news and documentary narration.
