Job Role / Key Responsibilities
- Drive reliability and performance through preventive and corrective maintenance, including troubleshooting fully automated UHT dairy processing and packaging machinery.
- Lead continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance machine efficiency, reliability, and capacity while reducing waste and boosting overall productivity.
- Conduct root cause analysis of production downtime, ensuring long-term solutions that minimize recurrence and maximize operational uptime.
- Proactively monitor system health to anticipate and prevent unexpected breakdowns, safeguarding uninterrupted production.
- Optimize spare parts management by ensuring the availability of critical components, maintaining accurate inventory, and streamlining procurement to avoid costly delays.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance by ensuring all equipment meets health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Inspire and guide the team by supervising, training, and mentoring junior technicians and operators, while collaborating closely with production, quality, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Higher Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a maintenance role within the dairy or food processing industry (UHT experience is a strong advantage).
- Experience in troubleshooting Tetra Pak filling and downstream machines is a strong advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety, safety standards, and ISO are preferred.
