Product Head - Micro & Personal Loans
Overall Purpose of Job
To lead the growth and development of the Micro & Personal Loan portfolio by:
- Driving business expansion through innovative channels and strategic partnerships.
- Empowering and guiding branch staff to effectively promote and cross-sell products.
- Ensuring loan disbursements are compliant with regulatory standards and internal controls.
- Monitoring portfolio performance and implementing strategies to maintain high asset quality.
- Contributing to organizational growth by identifying new market opportunities and delivering sustainable results.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, results-driven professional with proven expertise in consumer lending. He/She should demonstrate:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a bank or reputed financial institution, including 3 years in Credit, Product Management or a similar role.
- Professional/academic qualifications in Banking or Finance (a degree or specialization in Credit Management will be an added advantage).
- A strong track record in business development, portfolio management, and credit risk management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and people development abilities to inspire and guide branch teams.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills (Proficiency in Tamil language would be an added advantage).
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools (Excel proficiency is essential).
- Age: Below 40 years.
