Lak Jaya Micro Finance Limited is a licensed microfinance institution regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. As part of the ASA International Group, we are dedicated to empowering low-income entrepreneurs, primarily women, across Sri Lanka.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage microfinance products across lending, savings, and related financial services.
- Conduct market research and gather customer insights to identify product gaps and growth opportunities.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Collaborate with Operations, Credit, Risk, IT, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure products are viable, compliant, and scalable.
- Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Support pilot testing, pricing strategy, and rollout plans across branch networks.
- Prepare product documentation, management information systems (MIS), and management reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in product management, preferably in microfinance, banking, fintech, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of microfinance operations, credit processes, and customer-centric product design.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with CBSL regulatory requirements will be an advantage.
