Production & Planning Executive
Job Profile
- Coordinate production workflow for multiple products.
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
- Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations.
- Schedule shifts according to production needs.
- Monitor jobs to ensure they finish on time and within budget.
- Address issues when they arise, aiming for minimum disruption.
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives, etc.).
- Report on production status and any production issues to upper management.
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff.
- Find ways to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Applicant Profile
- Good passes in GCE A/L in any stream.
- Degree or Diploma in manufacturing management or industrial engineering.
- Over 3 years of experience in a medium or large-scale manufacturing organization.
- Those living in close proximity to Panadura will be given preference.
