Main Responsibilities
- Carry out Protection of Family Links (PFL) activities independently and under supervision.
- Contribute to ICRC Delegation's work on the issue of Missing Persons and their families.
- Perform internal and external follow-up of individual cases as per PFL standards and procedures.
- Plan and organize field trips.
- Prepare, participate in, and report on all aspects of field trips related to PFL activities.
- Analyze the security, socio-economic, cultural, and political environment and share relevant information with team members.
- Develop and maintain contact with local authorities, communities, and SLRCS RFL staff and volunteers.
- Receive visitors and ensure adequate follow-up.
- Translate/interpreter upon request and contribute to reporting and statistical data.
Selection Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' work experience in a similar field.
- Professional diploma or University degree or equivalent.
- Experience with ICRC or another humanitarian agency is an added value.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Sinhala.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Good understanding of privacy and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical skills.
