Public Relations Officer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Media, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in public relations, communications, or corporate liaison roles is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of international trade procedures and documentation.
  • Age: Between 24-30 years.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a public relations officer role or a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in Sinhala, Tamil, and English with strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and disseminate official communications, speeches, press releases, and newsletters.
  • Assist in organizing official events, meetings, and public appearances of the Chairman.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure consistent messaging across all communications channels.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
