Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships.
- Ensure timely delivery of quality products.
- Maintain inventory levels and control costs.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to understand product needs.
- Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a purchasing role, preferably in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Fluency in Tamil is required; knowledge of Sinhala and English is an advantage.
- Passion for excellence and a customer-first attitude.
