Join Vallibel One PLC, a leading diversified conglomerate in real estate and construction. We are looking for a driven and independent Quantity Surveyor eager to grow within a dynamic corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents in line with project requirements.
- Conduct material take-offs and quantity measurements using CostX and other QS tools.
- Assist in the preparation of cost plans, cash flow forecasts, and project budgets.
- Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations, ensuring value for money and compliance with specifications.
- Negotiate and prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, and contractual agreements.
- Carry out site visits to verify work progress, perform on-site measurements, and prepare interim valuations.
- Track project costs and variations, highlighting potential cost overruns and advising the project team on corrective measures.
- Support the preparation of interim payment applications and certification of subcontractor payments.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including variation orders, claims, and final accounts.
- Work closely with the project, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Completed or currently pursuing a CostX course is a MUST.
- Prior hands-on experience using CostX in a working or training environment is a MUST.
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a MUST.
