Job Description
Waguruwela Oil Mills (Pvt) Ltd is a leading manufacturer and exporter of coconut kernel-based food products in Sri Lanka. We are seeking a Senior Executive/Executive for our Internal Audit team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct independent audits.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal rules, procedures, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Identify and escalate potential risks related to non-compliance or fraud for further investigation.
- Follow up on the implementation of audit findings and monitor continuous improvement.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the team.
Requirements
- Partially qualified in CA Sri Lanka/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Internal or External auditing (experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management, audit procedures, and compliance standards.
- Sound understanding of ERP/accounting systems.
- Excellent analytical, report writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
