Sri Lanka CERT|CC, the nation's apex cybersecurity organization, is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced cybersecurity professionals to contribute to national security by implementing advanced security measures, responding to cyber threats, and ensuring the resilience of critical IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cybersecurity solutions to protect national digital assets.
- Conduct threat analysis, risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security audits.
- Lead incident detection, response, and forensic investigations to mitigate security breaches.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with government agencies, law enforcement, and private sector partners to enhance national cybersecurity posture.
- Research and implement emerging security technologies and strategies.
- Conduct security awareness programs and training for stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- A Master's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Information Systems or equivalent qualification.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GCIH, OSCP, GCIA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or incident response.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, Network/System Security, DevSecOps, and cryptography.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a highly secure and confidential environment.
- Age should not exceed 35 years.
