Berendina Development Services (Gte) Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team in Nawala. This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations and enhancing our internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements and operational processes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management strategies.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement audit recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in auditing.
- Assist in the development of audit plans and strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing or a related field.
- Professional certification (CIA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
