About Us
Founded in 2006, the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team | Coordinating Centre (Sri Lanka CERT|CC) is Sri Lanka's National CERT with the mandate to protect the nation's cyber space. We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team as SOC Infrastructure Engineer professionals.
Job Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage SOC infrastructure components including servers, networks, and security devices.
- Monitor SOC systems for performance, availability, and security.
- Analyze network traffic to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with SOC analysts to investigate and respond to security incidents.
- Maintain and update SOC infrastructure documentation.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist in the implementation of security tools and technologies.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SOC infrastructure issues.
- Participate in the development of SOC processes and procedures.
Educational and Professional Qualifications
- A Bachelor Degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as RHCSA, CCNA/CCNP, MCSE, VMware, AWS/Azure Admin.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security) are a plus.
Experience
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security technologies.
- Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection tools.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Minimum of 2 years industry experience in Network, System, and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of the latest theories, standards, and practices in cyber security.
Other Skills/Abilities
- Good communication skills in English, Sinhala, or Tamil.
- Ability to perform in a team environment.
- Ability to liaise with local and international organizations.
- Ability for self-learning.
- Age should not exceed 35 years.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be based on current industry standards and includes medical insurance benefits and travel allowances.
