Supervisor - Operations
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and supervision of field-level organic operations, including procurement, quality checks, and logistics.
- Ensure all organic farming activities comply with relevant organic certification standards and internal SOPs.
- Monitor the performance of field teams and provide guidance to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of sourcing, production, inspections, and traceability documentation.
- Support audits, inspections, and reporting requirements for organic certifications.
- Liaise with farmers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to organic practices.
- Report any operational risks, deviations, or issues to senior management promptly.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in agricultural operations, preferably in organic farming or related areas.
- Knowledge of organic standards (e.g., EU, USDA, local organic certifications) is an advantage.
- Experience in organic operations will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to field locations as required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
