Join Bluesteps as an Assistant Superintendent for Tea and Rubber in Colombo. We are a well-established and diversified group of companies in Sri Lanka, seeking a dedicated professional to enhance our plantation management team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations in tea and rubber plantations.
- Implement best agricultural practices for cultivation and manufacture.
- Manage and lead a team of workers effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain records and reports related to plantation activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture/Science/Plantation Management/Business Management from a UGC-recognized university with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Regional Plantation Company, or
- Diploma in Agriculture/Plantation Management from a recognized institution with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Regional Plantation Company.
- Excellent track record with unblemished character.
- Strong knowledge of best agricultural practices related to tea/rubber cultivation and manufacture.
- Strong management and communication skills with excellent leadership attributes.
- Working knowledge of Sinhala and English; ability to converse in Tamil is an added advantage.
